Feyenoord Rotterdam is a Dutch professional football club from Rotterdam, founded on 19 July 1908, that plays in the Eredivisie. The stadium club is often referred to as the people's club. The home ground is Feijenoord Stadium which is popularly known as De Kuip. It can accommodate more than 51,000 spectators. Feyenoord's traditional kit consists of a red and white shirt with black shorts and ditto socks. The football club is one of the three traditional top clubs in the Netherlands.
Feyenoord have won the national championship fifteen times, the KNVB Cup thirteen times, the European Cup I twice, the UEFA Cup twice and the World Cup once. Feyenoord is one of the first Dutch clubs to win a major international prize in 1970, making it the leading club in Dutch football. In the UEFA ranking of best clubs in Europe for the 2021/22 season, Feyenoord were 42nd with a total of 40,000 points.
